It is day 37 of our stay at home order in Minnesota which means I have not worn jeans, make-up, or normal clothes in 37 days! I keep looking at my jeans thinking today is the day I am going to put them on and then I think to myself…..why? We are going through a pandemic so no need to add to the stress right now! Soon I might have to start researching jeggings! Maybe there is something there?!
Anyways, the last few weeks I have been highlighting things that have been making life better while in quarantine. The next item making my life better is a service I discovered during the pandemic and I absolutely love it and will continue using it even after the pandemic.
Imperfect Foods – What is it?
Imperfect Foods is a service that delivers seasonal, cosmetically Imperfect Foods at affordable prices. The reason I started looking into Imperfect Foods during the pandemic is I am 35 which means my metabolism has slowed down and when you are stuck at home there is only so much movement that can take place. I knew I needed to find a way to get healthy food delivered to my door in order to reduce the weight gain damage that could occur during times like this. (I take great comfort in food and absolutely love food so I am a person who needs to put certain controls in place!)

How does it work?
It is a subscription that is easy to manage and you can cancel at anytime. Currently, I get a medium size box delivered every week on Wednesdays and my average cost per week is around $35. On Fridays they notify me that it’s time to review my order. I have until Monday to finalize any customization I want to make to my order. While it’s called Imperfect Foods all the food I have received is edible and the imperfections are so minor. For example, the majority of produce I receive is either slightly smaller or larger than what you would find in the store. When you are customizing your order they will tell you in the product description why it’s considered imperfect.

It is a convenient and affordable way to get your weekly produce if you live in a city where it’s available. If you are interested I highly recommend it. I have provided a referral link in case you want to look into it. I hope everyone has a great week!
