Hello everyone!
I am finally getting around to writing a blog post on something that I have been trying since the beginning of the year and I am excited to share with you my experience because I absolutely love it!
Like most people at the beginning of the year I needed to do a reset with my body. I had been feeling sluggish, gained some covid pounds and overall, not feeling the greatest. So I went to Google. During my Google search I came across Sakara.
What is Sakara?
Sakara is a plant-based, organic meal delivery service that is founded on the idea that food is supposed to be nourishment and medicine.
How does it work?
Sakara offers 4 meal programs: signature meal, Level II detox, bridal meal and 10 day reset. I tested out two of the four programs – signature meal and 10-day reset.
10-day reset overview
The 10-day reset is a kit that contains recipes and other essential items that allows you to get the Sakara experience for a fraction of the cost. Below is everything that comes in the kit.
Few things I learned:
- The recipes were quick and easy to make and they tasted so good! I am not a good cook so for those who are like me the recipes were easy to follow and all the dishes turned out great!
- I realized that I didn’t eat as many fruits and vegetables as I thought I did.
- I did not get the afternoon slump while on the 10 day detox.
- I had so much energy.
- I lost weight with zero calorie counting.
- The detox water drops & detox bars were disgusting. All the other items I have ordered multiple times.
Overall, I felt amazing while doing the 10-day reset program. I never realized the impact that food could have on one’s mental and physical state. I would recommend the 10-day reset program to anyone who is curious about Sakara to determine if the program or products are the right fit for you.
Signature Meal Program:
One week I knew I was going to have an especially crazy week at work so I decided to order the 2-day meal delivery option which included breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 2 days. Because there is a lot of food and the food reduces cravings I was able to stretch it out over the week. Guys at first when I looked at some of the items I thought the meals looked disgusting and/or had no clue what I was eating – but the food tasted so good! Below is a breakfast item, a lunch item, and a dinner I was sent.
Sexy Cinnamon Rolls
Truffle Kale Salad
Eggplant Florentine
Enjoy and if you try Sakara let me know what you think!
