I have often wondered about the concept of ‘Love at first sight’ – does it exist? Is there a type of love that transcends time and space that once you see ‘The One’ you just know? Well my friends I am here to tell you that ‘Love at first sight’ does exist!
I fell in love with Coach’s Waverly Beadchain pumps while walking through Macy’s one day. Black pumps which are usually a classic, understated part of your outfit ensemble are often boring and uneventful. When I saw these beautiful black, gold beaded, pointed-toed pumps I knew my outfits were now going to be complete!
3 reasons I love these shoes:
#1: Cost
We work to hard for our money and while I like to look nice I don’t like it to come with a steep price tag. The pumps cost $195 per pair but they go on sale a few times a year for 30% off bringing down the price to $130. The price is worth it for me because I wear these pumps all the time. When they go on sale I stock up!
Word of caution, BCBG sells a similar style pump (BCBGeneration Harleigh Womens Pump) and while they cost around $80 per pair they are not worth the money and I would not recommend buying them. I bought them and the gold beading looked cheap and they did not fit well. I never ended up wearing them.
#2: Attention to detail
The gold beaded detail chain platform is the differentiator that caught my attention right away. While the beaded details are small and delicate looking, it stays put and the beads don’t fall off. There is nothing more sophisticated looking than black leather with gold accent beads!
#3: Fit
While I work a desk job, majority of my day is spent walking from one meeting to the next and I can honestly say that I am able to wear these shoes all day with no regrets. I am at an age where comfort is more important than style. There is nothing worse than 30 minutes into your day and all you are doing is imagining kicking your shoes off because your feet hurt so bad. The shoes run true to size and you can literally remove the shoes from the box and wear them immediately. No break in period required!
I no longer question the concept of ‘Love at first sight’ thanks to these beauties. I truly feel I have found the best pumps on the market! If you think you have found the best pumps on the market comment below. Would love to find new loves😊
